The High Command of the Confederacy - Paw Paw Post Office porch
Confederate President Jefferson Davis, General Stonewall Jackson and General Robert E. Lee met together only one time shortly after the Seven Days battle on July 13, 1862.

Major Orange B. Ormsby, M.D., of the 45th Illinois Volunteers, portrayed by Robert Fox, tells what life would have been like in a makeshift hospital in Civil War America.

Burial Arrangements- In front of the Paw Paw Post Office
Undertaker Scott Paulson will be discussing burial arrangements of the Civil War era.

Songs of the Civil War- Meeting House
Bob Welch performs songs of the Civil War period, singing and accompanying himself on guitar, banjo and mandolin. By combining storytelling and history with the music, he brings history to musical life.

Miller's Petting Zoo - Next to the Martin Mitchell Mansion
It's feeding time! Touch, pet and feed the animals in an open-air petting zoo.

Generals Grant, Lee, Sherman, Custer and Jackson - Across from the Chapel
Meet the generals at their camp to learn more about their perspectives on the war.

Old-Time Photographer - Between the Blacksmith Shop and the Tavern
Visit an old-time photographer and dress in vintage clothing for a one-of-a-kind photographic remembrance of Civil War Days. (Additional fee)

Victorian Lawn Parties- Next to Halfway House
Meet the Victorian ladies of the Great Lakes Re-enactors Guilde as they host traditional lawn parties throughout the day.

Sutler's Row- Along Aurora Avenue between the camp sites
Shop for items soldiers bought from merchants who followed them from camp to camp.

Naperville During the Civil War Displays -
Stop by the Pre-Emption House lobby to see photographs of Civil War soldiers and actual letters and diaries written by and to people in the Naperville area during the Civil War period. View a window in the Gray Storefront Restrooms, where you will see a display dedicated to the many Naperville men who fought in the Civil War.

The Museum Store - Located in the Pre-Emption House
Shop for Civil War memorabilia, games, toys, books and reproductions. Proceeds benefit Naper Settlement.

Cricket Games - Next to Fort Payne
The English game of cricket was brought to the United States during the colonial era and by the 1860s could be found throughout the United States. Visitors can play this 19th century game, which Tom Melville will be conducting, on a continuous walk-up basis. Absolutely no experience required! (Not played during the battle.)

Civil War Tintypist - Next to the Schoolhouse
Using photographic techniques of the Civil War,Steve Ingram recreates an early portrait studio, where he will be taking photographs.

Battlefield Balladeers - Traveling the grounds
This musical duo blends history and harmony when they perform music of the Civil War era.

Don't miss Emmett Miller portraying 'Swin D. Lure,' who will perform traditional street magic with a portable table and a few tools of the trade.

This outstanding vocal group from Springbrook Community Church is modeled after Disneyworld's renowned "Voices of Liberty." Enjoy patriotic music from this vibrant ensemble.
