Camp Counselor-Camp Naper
Naper Settlement invites applications for a highly motivated, team-oriented, kid friendly creative professional for the position of Camp Counselor. This temporary summer position is part of the Education Department and reports directly to the Education Manager. The successful candidate will implement Camp Naper activities and communicate the interpretive themes of Naper Settlement by conducting educational programs and interfacing with campers to provide a quality museum experience that is both fun and educational. This temporary Monday-Friday position begins June 9-August 8, 2008.
Required Skills/Qualifications:
Skills in public speaking, customer service, organization and educational techniques. Knowledge of or interest in American, Illinois and Naperville history. Ability to develop and organize creative educational experiences.
Associate or Bachelors degree or equivalent preferred. One year of experience in related field required. Previous museum, childcare or teaching experience preferred.
Assistant Camp Counselor-Camp Naper

This temporary summer position is part of the Education Department and reports directly to the Education Manager. The successful candidate will assist with the implementation Camp Naper activities. Prepares and arranges supplies as requested. This temporary Monday-Friday position begins June 9-August 8, 2008.

High School diploma or Associate degree or equivalent required. One year of experience in related field required. Previous museum, childcare or teaching experience preferred.
Facilities Assistant - Full Time
The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting in the successful day-to-day work order completion, maintenance and repair projects and program support services provided by department. Assists with the coordination and monitoring of cleaning and landscape operations. Assists with training and supervising volunteers and community service people working on maintenance and grounds projects. No direct staff supervision or budgetary responsibilities. We offer a generous benefit package. Full time permanent position.
