Planned Giving Program
In 1936, Caroline Martin Mitchell bequeathed her land and home to the City of Naperville with the stipulation that the home and seven acres be kept in perpetuity as a museum. That was the beginning of Naper Settlement and its first planned gift.
Planned giving and estate gifts are a wonderful way for a donor to make a significant and lasting impact of Naper Settlement. They help ensure that the Naper Settlement that you love and support today, will continue after your passing.
The generosity and foresight of Naper Settlement's donors are recognized in many ways. Donors that inform Naper Settlement of their intent to provide a planned gift are made members of the Caroline Martin Mitchell Legacy Circle, which comes with a set of member benefits that can be enjoyed today.
