The Power of Music: Photographic Portraits of Americans and their Musical
Instruments, 1860-1915

Experience the power of music through this traveling exhibition of a
collection of photographic images amassed by music scholar and performer
Mark L. Gardner over a 25-year period. The intimate portraits presented in
this exhibit show the personal side of music in America from 1860 to 1915
and convey a sense of pride and accomplishment - as well as a love of music.
