Group Tours & Programs
Red Hat Ladies on a group tourOverview
Naper Settlement, the only accredited outdoor history museum in Illinois, is open for touring by groups of all types. Groups from a few to a few thousand people are encouraged to plan a visit. Travel 'N Talk presentations are also available during group tours or as separate programs on- or off-site. Visits and presentations are coordinated based on individual requirements and special requests. Group discounts apply to 20 people or more.

December 1-31
Call ahead to arrange a tour for your group of the historic Martin Mitchell Mansion decorated in traditional Victorian holiday splendor, followed by an informative presentation on holiday traditions, such as Christmas trees and straw ornaments, in the historic 1834 tavern. Sip tea and taste sweet treats while enjoying a presentation by one of our Victorian costumed interpreters. Be prepared to walk outdoors to the mansion. This program is 90 minutes long. Available for groups of 20 or more.
$25 per person; $20 per Naperville Heritage Society Sustaining member

School Programs
Our engaging school programs provide an opportunity for students to experience what they usually only study in textbooks. History lessons come to life in our village, and our programs fulfill many Illinois learning standards in the social science category. Ask about group tour pricing, plus site rental, food service and special programs available at an additional fee. For information or to schedule a tour, please contact our Tour Coordinator at 630.420.4161.
