Private Grounds Rentals and Fundraising Events

Sample Events:

Private corporate event, typically under a tent with catering service
Organization fundraising event, with tent(s), catering service, entertainment and special presentations (i.e., raffles, silent auctions and other special fundraising activities typically take place)

Includes:

4-hour rental on private, dedicated grounds location
Tent rental and setup to be handled by renting party
Picnic-style table seating for approximately 115 to 135 people, if requested
  (includes 17 standard wooden picnic tables and 3 special needs wooden picnic tables)

Use of the lawn for activities such as volleyball, bocce ball, croquet and horseshoes
  (please note: renter need to bring their own equipment)
Choice to tour Naper Settlement's historic buildings during open hours
  (additional fee applies)

Custom services available for an additional fee (i.e., learn how to play Town Ball on the Village Green, talk to a costumed interpreter about a historic topic, tour the Martin Mitchell Mansion, etc.)

Please note - Naper Settlement's primary mission is to preserve our community's history and share its stories in an educational environment. The Settlement is proud of the widespread community support it receives in order to accomplish its mission. In recognition and respect of this commitment, the Museum complex is made available for use by appropriate outside groups. To ensure that the Museum continues to maintain its high level of integrity and public trust, outside renters are required to adhere to specific rules and guidelines for the use of the grounds and facilities. Scheduling priorities will defer to the Museum's mission and desire to preserve the facilities to the highest standards.
