Camp Naper Summer Day Camps
Utilizing Naper Settlement’s beautiful 13-acre museum campus as their learning laboratory, campers will go on adventures in history, art, science, and more! Whether taking a blast to the past or building their own box city, each of our 16 unique day camps provides an immersive learning experience that will capture your child’s imagination while strengthening their critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Camp Hours: 9 AM -3 PM
- Early Drop Off: 8 AM (no additional fee)
- Camp activities do not officially begin until 9 AM

Blast from the Past
Grades 1-6 | June 5-June 9 | $230
What was life like for kids in the 60s? What will life be like for kids in 2060? Campers blast to the past and back to the future in this exciting week of historical exploration and futuristic fun.
Camp Everything I
Grades 1-6 | June 5-June 9 | $230
Camp Everything? Yes! From crafts and games to adventure and activities, campers will make friends while having summer fun! Tour Naper Settlement’s historic houses, exhibits, and more.
Coding Camp I (3 days)
Grades 1-6 | June 12-June 14 | $200
Campers will learn coding with Naper Settlement’s Robot Squad and create their own 3D-printed art projects in our brand-new STEM lab.
Sports Camp - Level I
Grades 1-3 | June 12-June 16 | $230
Campers will have an amazing week of
active play while learning the basics of
some favorite sports from the past and
today. Teamwork is the name of the
game!
Sports Camp - Level II
Grades 4-6 | June 12-June 16 | $230
During this week of camp, kids will
play epic group games from kickball to
volleyball and more while learning the
science behind their favorite sports.
Animal Kingdom: Misfits
Grades 1-6 | June 19-June 23 | $250
Campers will learn about some of the
most interesting and quirky animals
out there! Manatees, armadillos, and
platypi, oh my!
Mission: Survival
Grades 1-6 | June 19-June 23 | $250
Learn how the pioneers survived in
Naperville before running water and
electricity as you train for survival in
nature, help others in a disaster, and
encounter some wild animals. Be first
aid ready and stay safe in the water
during this exciting week! This week
includes an off-campus trip to the
paddleboat quarry.
Camp Everything II

Science Sleuths (3 Days)
Grades 1-6 | July 5-July 7 | $200
Campers will investigate some
scientific mysteries during this week of
experimentation and exploration.
Coding Camp II (3 days)

Calling all coders! Campers will learn

Around the World: Food and Culture
Grades 1-6 | July 10-July 14 | $230
Campers can travel the world from the
comfort of Naper Settlement. We’ll
explore various foods and cultures
from around the world that have
shaped some of the common foods we
eat today!

Calling all coders! Campers will learn

Shakespeare at the Settlement (2 Weeks)
Grades 5-8 | July 10-July 14; July 17-July 21 | $600
Campers will work with theater veterans to interpret the works of Shakespeare in a Victorian setting. From costume and set design to performance and public speaking skills, this camp is designed to encourage your child in the performing arts. This two-week-long camp culminates with Camp Naper Presents: Shakespeare
at the Settlement, a public event to
showcase the campers' diligent efforts
and practice.
Naturally Naper: STEM
Grades 1-6 | July 17-July 21 | $230
Time to brush up on botany and jump-start your knowledge of geology!
Campers will transform into naturalists
for the week as we investigate the
riches of nature and renewable
resources. What will you discover
under your own feet?
Under the Sea: STEM (3 days)
Grades 1-4 | July 17-July 19 | $200
Discover the darkest, deepest places
on the planet as we dive down into the
depths. Campers will learn about life
and landforms on the ocean floor. We
may even find sunken treasure!

Architecture Camp: Theme Parks (STEM)
Grades 5-8 | July 24-July 28 | $250
Creativity flows as we create a Camp
Naper carnival with camper-created
rides made from recycled materials.
Learn about architecture, design,
and physics. The week finishes with
an exhibition of our theme park for
families and guests.
Defying Gravity: Ag in Space (STEM)
Grades 1-6 | July 31-August 2 | $200
Can we grow food in space? Campers
will learn what plants need to grow
and work together to develop the best
ways to care for a plant in zero gravity.
What goes up must come down!
Failing Forward (3 Days)
Grades 1-6 | July 31-August 2 | $200
Nothing ventured, nothing gained.
Each day of camp starts with an
impossible challenge. Later in the day,
and after learning some key facts,
campers go back and fix their mistakes
and work towards success!
Cancellation Policy
If you cancel your registration for any reason, Naper Settlement will retain $50 per 5-day or 4-day camp; $35 per 2-day camp; or $15 per 1-day camp canceled. No refund will be given for a cancellation made within two weeks of the camp start date.
Please Note: Naper Settlement’s food activity and craft items may contain allergens, may have come in contact with items containing allergens, and there is always a risk of contamination or cross-contamination. There is also the possibility that manufacturers of the commercial foods we use could change the formulation or substitute at any time, without notice. Campers concerned with food allergies need to be aware of this risk. Naper Settlement will not assume any liability for adverse reactions to foods consumed or items one may come in contact with while at Camp Naper.
