All Naper Settlement building interiors, including the Pre-Emption House Visitors Center, are closed to the public at this time. Visitors are invited to explore the exteriors of our historic buildings and enjoy a variety of interactive tours that can be accessed through the museum's On-Cell Mobile app. Museum admission is complimentary and can be accessed by click the admission tickets button below. When visiting, please enter at the gate located in the parking lot on Aurora Ave adjacent to the Pre-Emption House and Century Memorial Chapel. Museums for All

Museums for All's national initiative is to increase accessibility of museum learning resources to low-income families. Visitors can receive general admission for $1 per person with the presentation of an Electronic Benefits Transfer (EBT) Link or WIC card with a photo identification. ‎ Visit the Pre-Emption House Visitor Center lobby to receive your discounted ticket for entry. Mask Policy

Face masks are required in all indoor areas at Naper Settlement for all guests and staff, regardless of vaccination status (due to current city and CDC guidelines). Please be aware that by using this facility, you are expressly assuming the risk and legal liability and waiving and releasing all claims for injuries, damage or loss which you or your minor child/ward might sustain as a result of use of the Naper Settlement ground in any and all activities connected with and associated with this facility (including exposure to communicable diseases).
