At only 16 years old she is a Girl Scout actively pursuing Gold Award status, 1st place Bible Bowl Team Winner-2018, Christian Education Certificate holder, High School/AP level 5.0 student who recently was inducted into numerous national-level honor societies which include (NHS – National Honor Society & SHH – Spanish National Honors - Sociedad Honoraria Hispánica) golf team prospect, NNHS field hockey team member, former volleyball Labero, 1st chair-section lead violinist for Naperville North High School orchestra, actively pursuing global scholar status with a recent trip to Costa Rica Animal Sanctuary-summer, 2019, science research participant with a recent trip to the University of Iowa-summer2019 -with focus in the areas of anatomy, physiology, forensics, biology & chemistry, Teen Advisory member for The Alive Center in Naperville, along with being a teen panelist for Naperville North High School on behalf of the S.U.C.C.E.S.S family organization and SFCP (School Family Community Partnership). Naperville North H.S BSLA teen co-president (Black Student Leadership Association), and a DuPage County NAACP chapter junior member.
“I’m working to promote engagement, diversity, inclusion and provide a voice for teens. We are the future, our perspectives should be consistently heard.” Jordan was recently featured in an article for NPR/WEBZ summarizing how she’s handling online e-learning during COVID, all while still balancing extra-curricular activities and a position at The Alive Center as a Diversity and Inclusion teen liaison."
