HERstory Nomination Karyn Ross

"I was an at-home mom until I was in my 40’s. Since then,
I’ve published 5 books, and started my own global coaching and consulting business with the purpose of Helping People Improve the World. While traveling the world giving conference keynotes, I noticed that while 50% of the audience were women, I was usually the only female speaker. Wanting to raise the voices of women in my field, last year I created a group for women practitioners. We are now a global group of close to 500 women. We are a co-creative group, publishing our own magazine, running our own conferences and helping women in our field speak on podcasts and have their writing published. There is no fee to join, and no selling or advertising. “Our purpose is growth...and the answer YES”! You can learn more at As well as my business and being a ‘founding mother’ of Women in Lean, I’m the founder and President of The Love and Kindness Project Foundation (registered 501(c)3 an    international ‘kindness-raising’ foundation with a mission to create a kinder world, one time act of kindness at a time. All of our work and products are free! Because kindness is free! You can see our Plant Kindness - Grow Love yard signs all around Naperville! You can learn more at"
